9/11 Sculpture by Richard Kron

After 9/11, the original sculpture was created in wood and placed in front of the Capon Hose Firehall.  The firemen raised the money to reproduce it in bronze.  It is part of the Art Walk we have in Brockport, which passes through the SUNY Brockport Campus and the Village. Because it is on Main Street, people are constantly walking or driving by.

I am a retired art teacher who has always had a passion for horses. We live on a farm and currently care for 2 horses, 1 dog and 2 cats. My husband and I are both very active as volunteers in our community and have enjoyed living here for over 40 years. This Journal has opened up my world. It was started on February 22nd, 2008 and has taken me to so many places. What a way to travel!
