International and Local News

Starting with the local part,,,,

It rained again last night and we had more off and on today.  Fortunately it was relatively cool. All kinds of things have been going on around here.  I did not sleep well last night and was up with Little Wonder by 6am.

It's our 59th Anniversary so we decided to go to lunch in Medina.  We drove by Scott's house on the way and things are moving right along.

Zambistro has some of the best food around and we have been there for our anniversary before.  The drive is worth it.  Main Street was loaded with flowers,

Seeing that this was going to be our dinner....we went big.  Gary started with a chowder.

We both ordered the lunch steak and fries with an arugula salad.  I had sweet potato fries, which they served with honey....

Gary had parmasean fries with his.

Probably the best steak I have ever had.

The waitress found out it was our anniversary and surprised us with dessert.

After a nice siesta, Gary went back out to work on one of the gardens.

I picked some zucchini and cucumbers

Dinner might just be watermelon.

Night all,

Now for the International part.

Jenny was out in the country yesterday.  (Near London)

Daniela made it to Croatia....(Here she is with Baba...grandmother.... who has a home there).

and today Kurt and Ariana became engaged (also in Croatia).

Major congratulations!!!!!

On top of that, I communicated with Sabine, who lives in Germany.  You already know her.  She was our exchange student in 86-87 and she has been back to visit several times....last year for Jenny's wedding.  They will be seeing each other again in just a few days.  Sisters!
