May Apples

Could not have asked for more beautiful weather.  A high of 73 degrees....no humidity.

Can't remember when I slept until 8:15...but little Wonder and I did it today.  Woke up at 6 and went back to bed.  Felt so good.  After that, it was our typical slow start.  I was able to get an appointment at the Health Center at 11am and before then, had to make a big sign for our friend Scott, who is running for Village Board.

LW had to get in his lap time when I got back home from my appointment.

Late afternoon I got off my butt and decided to go on a trike ride....it did not bother my foot at all.
Called my friend Sandra (Minnesota) and we talked while I was riding.  I have a little pouch I can hang around my neck and it puts the phone in just the right place so I can be heard.  Would definately do that again.

Ride #8
The home stretch.

Look at all those May Apples.....hundreds!
And we still have plenty of tulips.

I made a real dinner tonight.
Salad, baked potatoes and pork chops topped with a honey/balsamic sauce....onions and carrots.
Night all.

  1. Talking to you is a bright spot in my day! The first photo of LW is fantastic. It's currently 38 with a high of 48. I plan to do somethings in the house as it's not all that pleasant outside. I haven't heard of May Apples.
