I think Rebel and Buddy enjoyed the break in the weather as much as I did. We had brilliant sun all day and reached 25 degrees.
The extreme temperatures have been hard on Rebel as he is stiff. Buddy seems normal.
Eight straight weeks of winter has been a pain. One week from today we may be in the 30s. I don't know how my friends in Minnesota and Wisconsin deal with even colder temperatures. We certainly have enough snow.
After chores I went to the bank and Wegmans for a couple things. They did some serious decorating for Valentines Day.
Around 1:30, Buddy's Mom stopped up and we had a nice chat by the fire.
Gary went into Rochester for a procedure and I did some laundry and bed making.
Chores at 5.
So glad these guys caught a break today. They are too old for arctic weather.
Little Wonder was happy to join me.
It was too early for moon photos but the sunset was looking pretty good.
I made a Germanish casserole for dinner. Kielbasa, onions and sauerkraut over noodles (I broke up some lasagna as I did not have what I needed) in a gravy with some sour cream. Tasted good!
At 6pm it was not quite dark.
Can't wait to crawl into bed.
Night all.

Your winter certainly has been 'winter'! You haven't had a break!
ReplyDeleteWe finally are getting nice winter weather which is good for outside activities. At the end of March I will be so ready for winter to end or maybe earlier.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I am liking it this year.
Your meals sound wonderful.
I need a cook! LOL!
Daylight at 6 p.m. your days are getting longer daylight already, but that snow!!! Too much for me I'm sure.
