One Ugmo Day

Grey and a very rainy afternoon.

Rebel, Buddy and Little Wonder had shavings on their tails.

After chores I made two big cookie sheets of croutons, which I will use to make stuffing for dinner tomorrow.  We are doing the Thanksgiving thing then, so the rest of the crew can hit 3 other places on Thursday.
Tuesdays are now music days.  Gary C. passed as he was not feeling well, Nancy arrived at 1, and John pulled in at 2 as he forgot we switched it for him so he would be able to get to coaching on time.  Nancy and I had a full hour to mess around on our ukes and then we switched to some other songs for the last hour.  Little by little.  We are coming up with some new stuff that I really want to learn. "I Will: (Beatles) and "I Like Trains" are going to be fun.  Today we worked on "Lodi" and "Summer's End" (Prine).

After they left, I put together some chicken and gravy for dinner.

The boys ate at 5.  Sounds like some snow may be on the way starting tomorrow.

I made a simple salad....romaine, grapes, banana, walnuts....
topped with poppy seed dressing.
So good!
Sid was happy to be in his spot by the fire.  Earlier, he came in the house and sat directly behind Nancy and me....every time we started to sing he meowed!
I could not blame Little Wonder for not wanting to go out to the barn in the rain. Smart dog.
Night all.

  2. Sounds like a good day, even if it was ugly. We had cold cold rains, then snow, then cold cold winds and cold snow.
The wind changed overnight and we are prepping for 6 inches of snow on Saturday. Uff. That is when my youngest son and family are coming for a visit.
