Crispy and gorgeous after a grey start. I guess I did not get the hay out fast enough for Rebel this morning.
Around 10 Gary dropped me off at the Farm Market while he went for coffee. I spent some time at the voter registration booth with one of the candidates I'm supporting. He has been an attorney for decades and would be a terrific addition to our Town Board.
I was in a squash mood and bought two butternut and one acorn. Perfect weather for some soup.
We sat out on the porch in the sun when we got home and read the paper....Little Wonder thought it was too hot.
It took me forever to deal with the squash, but finally got started on a pot of soup.
Looked good.
(This rose is from my brother's funeral and it is still hanging on).
After a long nap, I decided to go for a little trike ride to see if I could get back in my old groove.
Chores at 6.
Dinner was delicious.
Squash/apple soup and a bagel. Are we weird or what?
So dark at 7.
Night all.
It is too bad that you don't have a bike trail some place where you can ride without any traffic being around.
ReplyDelete:)
Val....there is a flat bike trail all along the canal (545 miles), but my trike won't fit in the car to get it there. If I go across the street there are all kinds of side roads to ride on.
DeleteThe perfect song for your ride! I'm enjoying the autumn weather we finally have.
