Non Stop

A little cooler but still very muggy.

Seeing that there was a cloud cover I decided to start mowing the pastures right after chores.
Alice arrived a little before 10 for Spa Day and the boys followed her right into the grooming room.

Scott had picked up Gary at 9 and they went to Batavia to pick up a new rototiller.
Rebel and Buddy enjoyed their "massages" and went straight out to the pasture that I had already mown.  Think they like it better without all the stuff sticking up around the grass.

Another hot day for Little Wonder.

Gary picked up Finn a little before noon and they worked in the gardens for a couple hours.  Our 4th truckload of mulch arrived.  They pulled out the rest of the garlic from the garden East of the Studio.
Laundry day for me.

After lunch I went back out to continue mowing the pastures, but did not get finished.
Late afternoon our friend Mary Jo and her pup stopped in with a sample of the garlic she grew this year.  Nice to catch up.

Chores at 8.  LW did not join me and stayed by the fan.
I made and appointment with the Vet to have bloodwork done on Rebel next Monday.  Need to know if he has Cushings.

After chores I got back on my John Deere and finished the big pasture.  Just have the outdoor arena to do tomorrow.  The sun was setting
by the time I finished.  Boy, do we need some rain.

Night all.

  1. Love Rebel sticking out his tongue! I sure hope the test results are negative. This garden tour has turned into a misery for Gary. I cannot imagine working outdoors in the humidity.

  2. This heat and muggly-ness is pretty awful. I hope to have someone hired to mow our wild pasture soon. A regular mower won't do it.

The gardens are looking pretty amazing. How soon to the garden tour?

I sure hope Rebel's tests come out negative also.
