Back to the Lake

Still muggy and we could really use some rain.

After finishing the stalls it took me an entire hour to take down a fan, clean it and put it in a better position.   By then it was 10am and I was roasting.
Scott stopped up and took our flat tire home to put in a plug so it would hold air.  He drove over in his beautiful, new, gigantic truck.
The interior was gorgeous.
Within an hour he had everything back together.  We are so fortunate to have him help us out!
Gary continued working on the back porch....scraping and putting on primer.

A little before 5, we left the farm and headed for the Bott's house out on the lake.  We were taking out a walker, some rhubarb, and we picked up a Greek pizza at Krony's.
Kristin made a beautiful salad and
the pizza met our expectations.

We sat out on the deck and a nice breeze kicked in.
Blueberry pie for dessert.  Always a pleasure to spend time with this family.
Home by 8 and tucked the boys in.  The house (even with the fans going) was hot and muggy.

We need to catch a break.
Night all.

Out To Lunch With Brenda and Al

I am so not into muggy!

Rebel was waiting for me this morning.

At 11:30 we picked up our friends...Brenda and Al....and drove out to Medina to have lunch at Zambistro.  Consistently one of the best restaurants between Rochester and Buffalo.

Everything tasted great, as usual.
The Main Street is so nice!

Home around 2 and all I wanted to do was stay cool.

Gary went down to Wegmans for a few things and when he got back to the farm, the right front tire was flat and there was a screw in it!  I was supposed to be out at Lake Ontario to jam with some friends by 8pm.  I called the Road Service number (on the window of my car) and someone was here in 30 minutes to put on the spare so we could have it fixed tomorrow.  What service!

I was told I could drive on it if I did not go too fast and kept it under 100 miles.  So I put the boys in a little early and loaded up three ukes and a lot of other stuff!

I arrived right at 8 and we set up the music on the beach.  So beautiful.
Many of the Botts and Raths family members were in town for their usual summer gathering and the rest of us joined in.  Ukes, guitars and my bass with about 20 voices!

Did not get home until 10:45.
Little Wonder was waiting...
Night all.
