#7357 Binging

Yes.  Another day with lower humidity.

Today they started drilling underneath the road to bring the water lines to the East side.  I believe they will be at our house tomorrow.  It's a pretty amazing process.

Around 10:30 I started mowing the lawn.....again...

Gary came out and got me as I was supposed to be at a appointment with the massage therapist at 11.

Fortunately she was able to take me, even tho I was a half hour late.  Finished the lawn after lunch.

Gary spent several hours working on one of the gardens, adding mulch to get rid of the pile that has been in the driveway for a month.

You can't really tell from the photo below, but wow!  I've never seen so many apples on a tree in my life!  Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds.  Pretty soon the branches will start to break.

I did manage to do some laundry and changed the bedding.

Other than that, I finished binging on the series "Click Bait."  It was a good one.

We had Mac salad on greens for dinner.  Simple.

Looking forward to our "She Sings" practice tomorrow.  We've been off for 10 days.

Now, it's time to do nothing.

#7355 An Interesting day!

First of all, it was Steph and Joe's Anniversary.

That was some wedding!

I did chores as usual....still humid and was soaked by the time I got back to the house.

I got a call from Gary, who had gone down to the village for his paper, and his van broke down.  No power steering, but he managed to take it to Northside, where they checked everything out.  He has had it for over 10 years and put on at least 100,000 miles.  Not worth fixing, so he is donating it to WXXI....our local public television channel and we are going to try having just one car.  Fine with me.

We got a little more rain last night so I decided to mow the outdoor arena while it was not dusty.

Before winter I expect it to look like a lawn.

I raked the indoor when I was finished....

and was so hot I took a cold shower.

Sure didn't take many photos today, but I did manage to make a nice dinner.

#7354 A Downpour For 20 Minutes. I'll Take It!

A pretty uneventful day.

After chores (very muggy again) I took a quick shower and went down to the farm market.  I got there by 11 but the singers were already finished so I did not get any videos.  Two girls that I don't know.

I only bought peppers.

Dropped tomatoes off at Vals and Jennys and spent the rest of the day doing very little.

While it was raining....

Rebel did not leave the pasture....

and his three buddies knew enough to get under the shed roof.

Rebel lost his purple mask somewhere and I walked all the pastures twice and can't find it.

Guess the old ones will have to do.

Chore duty tonight.  The air felt a little less humid.

This was my dinner.

Gary ate some leftovers and now I just might have to get back to my book.
