The Seymour Library

When are these cool mornings going to give in to spring?

6 students for class today.  We were very chatty.

I decided to give our two wing back chairs to Jenny (so old)
and bought a new chair and ottoman for the living room.
I told Gary it was his Father's Day present way in advance.
He will be sleeping in it regularly.....
Late this afternoon the sun came out.
Gary put some grain and shavings in the barn for me....
Rebel is going to love his bed tonight.

Tonight's board meeting did not start until 7 so I had time to make a good dinner.
We have a beautiful library in our town, and it is supported by three municipalities.
Tonight we had a special meeting at the Lodge in the Park for the presentation of a feasibility study
by the Bonadio Group, to assess how we want to go forward with funding etc.  The presentation was outstanding and thoroughly covered everything from circulation to financials.  Our community loves this facility and packed the building to listen to the results.

When the meeting ended, the Library Director (Carl Gouveia) announced that the Seymour Library was just selected to be the
2019 Rochester Regional Library of the year!
A great way to end the evening.A
Home.
Night all.

Happy Birthday Berlin...

34 years old today.

The sun was shinning into the library this morning but we ended up with a grey and cold day...
even had a few snow flakes.

While I was out in the barn the Highway Department arrived and picked up all our brush.
It was a huge pile.

The crazy temperatures have been a real pain.
Tomorrow we will still be in the 40s and I don't think I can heat up the Studio
by the time class starts at 10:30.

I did a few things around the house after chores and then drove down to Hanny's for an afternoon of bridge.
Terry was my partner today and we could not catch up with our opponents!
They had all the cards!!!
Can you see the little bunny on top of this brownie?
Hanny sent us home with a jar of her homemade jam,
and these Easter Bunnies.
Of course we had all kinds of discussion while we were playing
Always a good time.
Now,  to get out by the fire.
Night all.
