ARE YOU SCARED????

Trick or treating later tonight with Finn and Coop D'Ville.

WORDS OF WISDOM

...and I don't remember who said them.....
"Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there."

HEY, WANT SOME HAY?

I tested out a sample bale of first cutting today...grass hay, and the horses loved it.  Hopefully we can get a big load delivered while we are having nice weather.  The barn is built into a hill and you have to drive down the lane and through the pasture to get to the second floor.  We were lucky to find it, as this was an unusual year for hay.

A RED COAT FOR DAISEY...

Gayle...the coat I sent you for your goat is identical to the one Phoebe is wearing.

THE SKOOG FARM WORKSHOP....

Today our 6th annual art show was over.  It took us hours to hang it, and minutes to take it down.

APPLE CREEK FARM...

I picked up a few more bags of apples after we took down the art show.  This is about my fourth trip, and I have still not emptied the pallet that was accidently dumped.  They are holding up well because of the cold.

HIGH NOON....

Warm and balmy....so I took the sheets off the horses.  This afternoon, I will spend outside.

THE MORNING VIEW...

started out a little dark...
I spent much of the day communicating with Spartacus Jones over political issues.  If you get bored, check out his link (yesterdays post) and it will keep you busy for a long time.

FREEZING, BUT BRIGHT....

and no snow.  Tomorrow it is supposed to be 65!  I find that hard to believe.  Phoebe had on her winter coat and did not want to stay out very long.

LILLIE MAY....

...was visiting with her family late afternoon.  Winnie, their horse (you've already met her) will be moving to the farm in a few weeks, so they were here to check things out.

EVENING LIGHT.....

At this time next week it will be pitch black.
