Rain or Shine....

The weather was much better than predicted, even tho it was raining
when I got out to the barn.

Fortunately it cleared up mid morning and the the sun appeared.
By the time I delivered Phoebe and Little Wonder to the groomer,
the temperature had increased to the 50s.
After that I bought some flowers and delivered them to our Town Clerk,
as she was just elected incoming District Director for the
New York State Town Clerks Association.  Mary, Susan and I viewed it
as an act of kindness for someone who serves our community so well.
 Beautiful tulips.
I picked up the pups a little after two...
Sherri always does a great job...they were silky and smelled so good.

I spent part of the afternoon shredding paper for the stalls.
Two big bags for each.
Phoebe will appreciate her short coat next week if it really hits 80!
You can't imagine how soft Little Wonder's coat feels.
He is always so shiny.

The horses must really appreciate a day like this.
They were all filthy when I took the shredded paper out to the barn.

Gary went down to the Village at 4:30 as both Finn and Cooper had games.
I passed and made my version of Mac and cheese for dinner.
The cheese sauce has a couple of secret ingredients....
Better than boullion (1 teaspoon of chicken) and a big squirt of honey mustard.
In the meantime I sautéed an onion
and added two diced plum tomatoes.

I dumped that into the cheese sauce

mixed it with small shells and topped it with a little Romano Cheese and
fresh ground pepper.
We also had a salad...
 Delicious.
Different and loaded with flavor.
We must have about 80 daffs in bloom.

Once again some good light was coming through the living room windows.

A beautiful sunset to the West
and the moon to the East.

Night all.

The pups look great! Mine are stinky right now, they get groomed next week. Horses love a good roll in the mud. The Mac and cheese looks delicious.

Dear Lori, that mac and cheese recipe really makes my taste buds salivate! I'm going to try it--without the chicken bouillon of course because I've been a vegetarian for 38 years. But the onion and tomato plus the honey mustard sounds yummy.

Phoebe and Little Wonder are such delightful dogs! They always seem so involved in whatever you are doing. Peace.
