One Thing After the Other....

Woke up at 5am and could not get back to sleep.
After the pups and I went out to the barn at 7:30, it was non stop for hours.

When we finished, I went to Agape right away, as I had to be at
Sara's by 10 to help create flower arrangements for
the Winter Gala tomorrow night.  It is a fundraiser sponsored
by the college and there are 428 people going!
Even more than last year.
 The shop was beautifully decorated.

We were directed back to a greenhouse
that was all set up with everything we needed.
There was even a white board listing how many of what would be needed for each arrangement.
We all had a station with an upside down crate, a bucket of water and good cutters
for trimming the flowers.
We worked on three different arrangements.
ONE
TWO
THREE

They were all different...so creative.
Don't we look like a wedding party?

When we were finished I drove over to the Morgan Manning House
to take photos of the Candlelight Christmas.
Our community really looks forward to this every year as there are so
many beautiful handmade items.

Home around 1:30, ready for lunch.

So tired, I could only keep my eyes open for about 10 minutes of reading.
I did make a superb dinner tho.....
The salad....romaine, apples, grapes, craisins, crumbly blue and walnuts.
Main course....boneless/skinless/organic chicken thighs marinated in a combination of soy sauce and homemade Italian dressing topped with carrots and caramelized onions.
During the last 20 minutes I uncover and add honey mustard.
(I bake covered with another glass pie plate).
The side....mashed potatoes.
Delish!!!!!
Little Wonder and Phoebe had a taste of potatoes/carrots and a bite of chicken.
I always add something to their kibbles at night.  Many times it is peas or they
split a hard boiled egg, or whatever.
Now we are doin' nuthin'.

Night all.
