A Sign Of The Times....

Maggie was framed by the window in the back of the horse barn.  A grey and cool morning with rain on and off during the day.  The girls look much better without their masks.

For now (until it gets colder) Phoebe and Little Wonder frequently spend some time in the back yard while I finish chores.
We are setting up the art show tomorrow and Gary and I had to spend a lot of time working on our paintings.  He has stripped (framed) them, but I still have more work to do on mine.
As you can see....I am very loose  and like funky colors.
Gary is what is called an "outsider" artist.  No training and very primitive.
This is his version of our farm.
 Check out his little garden....
His canvas is about 5 feet by 6 feet and mine is a little smaller.
It was a perfect day to be in the studio and the dogs kept us company.
Here is a wiggly peek at what it was like.  I have a very old, but great set of components in there and love to play music while I'm painting.
Thank you Roger, for putting together this CD...it's one of my favorites.

Around 2:30 I went down to The Center for Kris D's birthday.
She is the massage therapist I have gone to for over 8 years.
She was joined by family and many friends for a very sweet celebration.

When I left, it was raining pretty hard...
so I went out to the barn a little early.

Miss Piggy is back in business.

I have a feeling the leaves are going to start turning very quickly.

Tonight we are having our first fire.  That should get rid of some of the dampness.
Night all.

And I have high hopes that our last fire for the year has been lit!!! Love those flowers at the party.

Nice! Our leaves have been changing and I've seemed to almost be too busy to notice! How can that be!
Love Gary's painting and yours too. I'd be one to toss color all over the place if I were to try and paint a scene. Color, I just love it!

Those are giant canvasses! I'm sure the art show will be a huge success. Nothing like a little mud to make Miss Piggy happy!

Another full and busy day for you, from start to finish. What could be a better way to end it than with a lovely first fire?
