Off Duty...

Not in a picture taking mood today.
The weather report was right on....sunny, 80s, muggy and a chance for an afternoon thunderstorm.

After chores Phoebe and I drove to Spencerport, as I had to pick up a bracelet and necklace that were repaired.  The nasty man was not there (who waited on me when I dropped them off) and instead, I was waited on by a woman who was Miss Peaches and Cream.
Spencerport is also on the Canal and has this beautiful gazebo right near the water.
A funny thing happened this afternoon....I took a nap and when I woke up I thought it was tomorrow morning...it seemed awfully bright for chore time.  Weird.

I decided it was time to start making sun tea as I had gone out to pull sticky weeds and got so hot it sounded good.  All set for tomorrow.

Gary got home earlier than usual and within minutes it was pouring.
We made the most of it by watching a couple episodes of a Netflix series.

Dinner - pasta and meatballs with a side salad.
They have made a lot of progress on the house behind the pasture.  At the moment it reminds of a classy barn you would find in Germany or England.
Tonight the girls were nice and dirty as they got soaked and rolled.
It must have felt good.

Night all.

PS
Yesterday Gary spent a couple of hours down at The Center planting a veggie garden.
It will be so much fun, to watch it grow.

The old bocce court was turned into a raised bed.

I love the garden Gary is putting in it will so enjoyed by everyone. Hot and humid here too, we had storms yesterday morning and again now. I actually stepped out on the new porch and got shots and video of the wild orange clouds coming in!
