Abbe Is The Winner!!!!

The weatherman was right.  Today it started off grey and mild and we ended up with lots of rain.

Yesterday, Gary spent hours raking up the lawn.  Lots of little branches all over the place.
I don't remember it looking this good so early.
Other than going to Wegmans, I was not very productive today.
I'm on a clean out the closet binge and have started dumping in a big way.
Next, comes the loft (attic) which will require a dumpster!

The sculptures at the end of the driveway survived another winter...

I am not looking forward to anymore snow, even tho it should be expected.  Last year at this time we were hammered.
By 2pm it was raining hard enough for me to put the girls in the barn.
It was still in the 50s, but they were soaked...especially Abbe and Berlin.
And here she is (see the top photos and notice how clean she looked).

 Yuck.
Did not cook tonight as Gary was hungry for a sandwich down at the Stoneyard.
No complaints here.
 Night all.

PS
This is Noah Perereia as he comes through a checkpoint in the Iditarod. He is from Brockport, NY. http://iditarod.com/eye-on-the-trail-cooke-and-pereira/ Go to this site to read about him.
Thank you Sara Dunham for sharing this with me.

How about that?

Abbé really is a little piggy. I've got a few like that.

I got to clean out the basement, attics and closets and barn....I'd need more than one dumpster!

March really can be an unpredictable month. But it's good to have a day where you don't feel the pressure to really get anything done, especially knowing that the hard work of spring and summer is coming. Glad your day ended on a good note with a nice meal out!
