Here it Comes....

There is lake effect snow to the north of us and we just might have to do some shoveling tomorrow if it decides to move in our direction.  Today, only about one inch.

Fortunately it was not as cold as it looks.

After chores I went to Agape.

25 minutes on the bike, 16 minutes on the treadmill and 16 minutes on the elliptical.
A pretty good workout for me....

On the way home I stopped at Wegmans as we are having company for dinner on Friday.
This afternoon I was not very productive, and tonight we just had leftover sloppy joes.
No biggy.

Karen put the heavy Rambos on the girls tonight as it's going down to 13 or lower.
Tomorrow all the fun starts and on Saturday and Sunday we will be lucky to be above 0.
So glad we have a couple of wood stoves when it gets like this.
If it is windy, I'm going to put the girls in their stalls early tomorrow.
We have been so spoiled this winter I can't imagine how we survived last year at this time.
Night all.

  1. Nothing like a wood stove during the coldest times of the year. We have two as well. Stay warm!

  2. Been snowing here too off and on. Nothing much but by the weekend we should be below zero too. That should be fun. Glad I have a lot of wood for the fireplace too. Nothing like a nice fire when it's cold out. A nice cup of hot cocoa is always a nice touch too.

Congratulations on your stick-to-it-iveness on the exercise! Maybe I'll start exercising again, you're a good inspiration for me.

  3. Crank up the fires, get the Rambos out, or move south, we have had weeks of temps about the 30C, maybe some down to 29C, scorching the lawns, and all the trees, even big ones, are wilting.
