Need Some Time To Recharge

No rest for the wicked.
No beautiful skies this morning.

Once again I had to fly through chores so I could be at the Town Hall by 8:30 to take on one of my first jobs as a board member.
When I got back to the farm a little before one, Patty and Judy were here having tea with Gary.  Time out for some fun conversation.
What I needed was a nap...instead I went to Wegmans to pick up a few things.
Fortunately we did not get any rain and the temperature went up to at least 46,
Gary went out to get the mail and came back with a copy of the Suburban News.
There it was!  A full front page article about our swearing in with Louise Slaughter.
Even more on the second page!  The reporter, Kristina Gabalski, wrote an outstanding piece that was by far, my favorite.  Accurate and it captured the feeling of the event.
The pictures are not very good, but you can at least see the text below.

Chores at 5...lighter later.

Tucked the girls in and was ready for dinner.
I had frozen some leftover lasagna (vegetarian) and it was an easy way to have
a great dinner without jumping through hoops.
 Night all.

PS
In case you missed it, this was my favorite shot from yesterday.
