After Hours.....

There was some sunshine...on this cloudy day.

After chores I made a delivery to Sally in Brockport.
The sky was wild....like cotton balls.

Phoebe and Gucci went with me.

They love to go for a ride, but were very happy to get back home.
As my life needs to turn back to normal, I was in the mood to get things organized.
Started by changing around all the furniture in the living room.
That afternoon light was so spectacular.

After that was finished I went back to the village to pick up some pillows for the rocking chairs.
By then the cotton balls in the sky were breaking up.

It was starting to get dark when I did evening chores.

Tucked the girls in around 5:30....grain, beet pulp, apples and carrots all around.
Finally I had time to take a shower and got ready to go down to the library for a fund raiser.
After Hours....
Madonna was there taking care of tickets.
They have been doing this for several years and it has always drawn a good crowd.
They serve pairings of wine and different appetizers.
 Gerri and Jen were there.

This is this best bruschetta I have ever had.

In addition to getting sponsors for the food and wine, they always have a lot of gift baskets for a silent auction.

I love this part of the library.  It is the teen section and has several booths.

Music was provided by the Golden Eagle String Band.

Of course my running mates were there supporting the event.
So were several members of the Village Board.  We are going to prove that it is possible to work together for the betterment of this community.
Here are the two "Bread Men" from Brockport.
Adam and Chet.  Boy, do they know how to bake.
My friend Terri and I were all about poka dots.

We ended the evening at the dessert table.
 Home again, home again.
Night all.

PS
We are still waiting to hear if Mary had enough votes to win the election.
These absentee ballots take awhile.

Wow, I love your living room! So light and airy. We hope to turn ours from a 'cave like' experience to a more airy experience when remodeling!
