It's All About the Shoot, 'bout the Shoot...

Now this is what I would call a fun day!
At 11am Mary and Annie arrived at the farm for a photo shoot with our campaign photographer,
Glenn Emerson.

Seeing that he was the one with the camera, I don't have any group shots taken by me.
We did some crazy things just for fun and I can't wait to see the pictures.
While he was working on portraits of Mary, I had a chance to take a few as well.
Miss photogenic!
Seeing that we live in the Town of Sweden, we wanted to have pictures taken in the country as well as in the village.
At 2pm we met again down at the
 The turnout looked pretty good.
Gary was working at the Oak Orchard booth.
These sun flowers were delivered to the hospitality tent straight from Skoog Farm.
I immediately ran into Sandy (Manatee) buying ducks for the Derby.
Too busy to take photos of all the vendors....but these caught my eye.

Eventually, our Campaign for Change team arrived for the shoot.
Notice that Sandy jumped right in!
All these shots (with the shirts) were taken with my little point and shoot before the photographer arrived.

This team is full of spirit.

I can't thank all of them enough for getting together in support of us!
I don't want you to laugh too hard when you see our exit from the porch.
The longer version is on youtube and you can find it here.
(Convenient that there was a live band playing next to us....Zak's Pak).

This is the shorter version.

We have ordered another dozen t-shirts!  Our team is growing.

This is Val C.  She is on the Village Board and we are ready to work together for the betterment of our community.  (Big schmooze here).
I can't tell you how much fun we had taking these pictures.
What I love about this experience (running for office) is getting people informed, invested and happy to participate in the process.  Many are interested in having a new approach to government in our Town and we think we can help make that happen.
We are off and running!

On the way back to my car, I had to stop and grab a shot of these beautiful posies.
Night all.
