Get er Done...

A little brisk this morning but headed for the low 50s.
Decided to put hay in the back pasture so it's drier and it will help seed it.

Yesterday the sun landed on a lightning rod....today it was on a tree.

The two small pastures are surviving nicely without the horses beating them up.

After chores the pups and I drove down to Tractor Supply to pick up a bag of pasture mix for the outdoor arena.  Enough for 1 acre and it worked out perfectly.  Hopefully it will get sucked into the ground on the cold nights and will be helped by the heat (which may start showing up next week).  The horses miss going out there.

Around 2:30 a U-Haul truck arrived and my piano was taken to a new home.  I had heard about a migrant family whose Mom wanted one so she can learn to play for her church (where she now plays the guitar).  It was given to me and I passed it forward.  They were very grateful and I was happy to do it.
Here's the new view of living room minus the piano.
Simplify.  Simplify.  Simplify.
I did chores at 6, while Gary started a cozy fire and then drove down to Jen's
to pick up some mashed potatoes, chicken and biscuits.
Thank you Jenny, for make it so easy for me.
Delicious!

At the moment I am listening to a meeting I'm missing on speaker phone.
A first for me.

Night all.
PS
The Pink Ribbon Run is coming up on Mother's Day.
Our drumming group, Umoja, will be there to spur them on.

So nice of you to give your piano to the family who wanted it. I'm sure they will never forget your kindness.

For someone who doesn't feel well you still manage to get a lot done. Feel better.

How wonderful that you passed the piano on to another.
