To Hilton and Back....

We went on a 16 mile ride to get our taxes done.  Left at 8:30am and this is what it looked like as I tested my new point and shoot.  -30 winchill.  Crunch.
 Brockport

 Heading for Hilton

Destination.  We have been coming here to have our taxes done for the past 5 years.
FREE.  It is manned by 6-8 volunteers through AARP 3 half days a week.  What a great service.
 On the way back home.

 Clarkson

 The Erie Canal
Heading south on Main Street in Brockport

Gary stopped to pick up the Buffalo News at the Lift Bridge Book Store

 One mile from home.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Wow look at those icicles! I'd be trying to clean off some of the roof as that ice forms it may 'back' up into the shingles and roofing.
What beautiful houses though, very stately and Victorian-like!
Nasty winds and cold temps.
We are supposed to warm up today and tomorrow then go back to a deep freeze yet again.

Brrrr, but beautiful!
I spent a lot of time just outside of Hilton when I was a kid. It holds many fond memories for me.
I really like all of the beautiful old brick homes. Charming!

Hello Lori and Gari. You really do live in a lovely area. I wouldn't swap your weather for ours, though., picturesque though the snow is. We've had a couple of snow showers over the winter -none of it has settled though. We seem to have been in a very sheltered area this winter. Daffs are beginning to flower everywhere now, so we think spring is on its way. Hope so, anyway.
Warm regards, Mike and Ann.

Nice, sunny day for a ride . . . all that blue, blue sky on the white, white snow. . . and your taxes are done, to boot! xx
