More Trouble in River City

This morning the temperature was fine....but by this afternoon it got up to 91 degrees with some humidity.
Fortunately there was a pretty decent breeze.
Berlin has continued to hang out with me while I'm in the barn and even came back in her stall while I was cleaning it.
When it gets muggy like this, the horses like being in the run in next to their stalls.  Usually it is cooler and less buggy.

I'm glad we mowed the lawn yesterday.
Gary's work at Sara's has given him less time in the garden.  Only a few things left to plant...like corn, cabbage and squash.

As shocking as it might seem, I managed to drag my butt down to Agape after chores.  Really needed some aerobic activity...and I got it.  14 minutes on the bike, 10 minutes on the eliptical, 11 minutes on the treadmill and some knee exercises.
Not bad since I have not been there since March.
Now I have to keep doing it.
After that I went over to Sara's to buy a hanging plant for the kitchen porch.

Gary was way out back in one of the greenhouses working on hanging planters.

At 2:30 Phoebe and Gucci had to visit Dr. Edwards for their wellness check and a blood draw for heartworm.  They were very cooperative as usual.

When I got back to the farm Scott and his assistant were working on the drainage problem we are still having with our kitchen sink.  This project is getting bigger and bigger.  Don't even want to think about it.
I thought it was going to rain, but it cleared up when I went out to do evening chores.

The girls were most happy to get in their shady stalls.

No cooking tonight.  When will I have a kitchen sink that works and the opportunity to try our new reverse osmosis system???  What a drag.
Night all.

Best of luck with the sink problem. It is always something when you are a home owner.
