There's White...And There Is White

Can you believe it?  This is what we woke up to this morning....and it was darn cold too.

I would much rather be looking at this.

It even had to snow during chores.

At 1:30 we had to be down at the First Baptist Church in Brockport to perform in a benefit vocal concert for the Brockport and Spencerport Ecumenical Food Shelves.

Dick Carter was the organizer.
The program started with the Spencerport Community Chorus.

Next on deck...A group of 14 women,
"For Singing's Sake"
What a fun group!  They sang everything from "Rockin Robin" to "Singin' In The Rain" to "Splish Splash."

We were last.  And of course I can't sing and shoot a video...so this is what I have to show you.
Someone grabbed my camera and I actually got in a picture.

Home a little before 5.

Did not take many shots when I went out to do chores.  As you can see, there was a lot more rolling going on.  Most of the snow disappeared but it was windy and freezing.
Abbe decided to go for a stroll before I closed her gate...went down to visit Maggie.  Doesn't she look like a little piggy?

Got the girls tucked in and went back to the house for supper.

We had pre ordered a quart of potato soup as part of the fundraiser so when we got home it was a piece of cake to get dinner ready.
It was outstanding!  All I had to do was heat it up and make a salad.

A so-so sunset and another wintry day on the docket for tomorrow.  Yhipppppeeeeeee.
 Night all.

I know how you're feeling about the crummy weather, but again, you've had a wonderful and enjoyable day to get your mind off of it!

We had a bad winter (really bad) by our standards, but it has officially felt like and started to look like spring for a few weeks now. I can't imagine if it was STILL acting like winter. You are made of tougher stuff than me!

Ya, what's the deal with this winter's weather? I've cried "Uncle" a couple of times, but it just won't let me up. Your Sunday seems to have gone fast, at least.

Can't believe it snowed again by you. Enough! We might be getting some tomorrow. Hope not.

Love all the pictures. Looks like you all had a great time singing.
