Early Celebration

This morning, the back porch was featuring sunshine on peppers, eggplant and kitties.

Lorrie was carless, so Karen and I did morning chores.

 Another gorgeous day.

Karen and I decided to ride.  Started out in the indoor, went to the outdoor....
 and down the lane.
Angel was perfect for her first trail ride and Berlin was jiggy (she had not been ridden more than 4 times in the past year), and did not like being separated from her buddies.  Tho she is 29, she had LOTS of energy.  By the time we got home after a short ride through the Derefinko woods, she was wet and foamy.  Sponged her off and she was ready to roll.
 And now for SkyWatch Thursday.

Tonight Karen did chores and Jenny, Scott, Gary and I went to Alex's Place in Batavia to celebrate Gary's birthday a couple of days early.

Great food and service mixed with a lot of laughs.

Back home by 9:30.
Night all.

  1. Love the picture of Karen with her sweet mare. ...and you rode! Woo-hoo! You go girl. And, lastly, happy birthday Gary (early).
