My Walking Debut....

I give up!  I loaded all my pictures and text and the only thing that showed up was my title.  Can't set it up all again.  So here goes.  Chores (94%) humidity, misty.  Walking debut. 1.3 miles for starters, and my gluts and hip joints were not to excited about it. The elliptical is much easier on this old body. Class.  Getting ready for a show at Marti's on Main in Albion.  The opening is First Friday, September 6th 5:30-9.  After lunch went shopping for something to wear to a wedding.  Did ok.  Home in time for chores, but too late to make dinner.  Took Gary down to the Golden Eagle for a Reuben.  Back to the farm, let the girls out and grabbed a few shots in the dark.  How about the size of those peppers?
Night all.

  1. Lovely post, Lori, Glads are stunning. I have found walking on the footpath is so much harder than round and round our lawn and through our trees. I'm up to 2 km on a good day!!!Neighbours must wonder what I do each day about 5 p.m.. Greetings, Jean.p.s. I use "Windows Live Writer" do my blog, edit, then can save it or post it, a lot easier.

  2. Computer malfunctions with loading posts are the worst! A reuben sounds good to me. Elliptical is definitely easier on the joints. I can't walk very far - or even stand for long (feet) but I can do the elliptical.

  9. Your flowers and various signs that I've seen scattered around your property - LOVE!! Sounds like a productive and enjoyable day, especially the walking. It's really amazing to me how very, very similar your scenery and landscape is to ours here in the Pacific NW. We must be on similar equatorial parallels - or however you describe that. You're in the NE? Do you also have favorable climate and soils for growing wine grapes as we do? You must be a bit warmer overall though, because I'm still waiting on my ripe tomatoes. Have had a few, but quite scanty. We've also been in a cooler, more humid, misty weather pattern this past week.
