Red Sky in the Morning....

For some reason I woke up at 5:30.  This is what it looked like, so I grabbed my camera and went outside in my nightgown to grab some shots.

I could not get back to sleep so now I'm really tired.

Chores as usual.  The ponies started out on the pasture but came in for shelter when it started to pour.

After we cleaned the stalls, Lorrie got Moon ready for some work.
 Today it was line driving.

They are catching on.

At 9:40 I drove the dogs to the groomer...they were long overdo for their summer haircuts.  Believe it or not, we may hit 90 in a couple of days.

Class at 10:30...still raining like crazy.  I had the heat on so the studio was cozy.

We are going to set up our show at the library on Saturday.

Starting June 1st, you can see this piece by Connie Bonner at our
12th Annual Skoog Farm Workshop Exhibition.
Mark your calendars and come to our opening on June 6th, 7-8:30pm.

Drove back to get the dogs at 2...chose the Canal Road route.

Got home, read and took a nap.  Still raining.
Chores a little later....
After they got soaked, all rolled in the arena.

Tucked them in for the night...a good grooming will be needed when they dry off.

Whenever Gucci and Phoebe get a haircut they get very playful as soon as we get home.

Made a rhubarb pie...held off as long as possible 'cause we will eat it.
Simple supper again....cheddar and tomato paninis, roasted potatoes and bean salad.
That's it.
Night all.

I wanted to make a rhubarb pie last weekend but we had showings every day and I couldn't get any kitchen time. Grrr.

You mentioned some time ago about having a recipe blog, any further developments on that because your meals always look so good.

Looks like a perfect beginning and ending to the day. And the stuff in between was awesome too. Such a busy day.
