THE SUNRISES ARE GETTING BETTER...

This is the first morning in ages, that the sky had some drama going on.

Had a big bowl of fresh fruit for breakfast....as good as it gets.
Some friends gave us an apple tree when we moved to the farm.  Now, 31 years later, it has started producing a serious crop.  Even tho the rest of our fruit trees (except for the plum) had no fruit due to the crazy weather conditions last winter, this one and a volunteer in the back pasture are positively loaded.  We do not spray so they are truly organic.  I see some Apple Betty in our future.
Look at what is blooming again!
Got picked up at 12:45 to go to drumming down at the college.  Another session that really tested my brain.  Holy Moley.  No way am I back in the groove after being out of it since May.

Chores...finished watching a movie and did not make dinner.

Late afternoon Gary and Jen picked almost a bushel of tomatoes for Chet, the Breadman.

I hope he plans to make sauce!
Seeing that I wake up according to the light, by this time I am pooped.
Night all.

Lori, I too am a morning "fowl" and after 2 p.m. seem to fade, give me a morning any time. What a prolific vege garden this year for you, and the sunrises, will you get those glorious shades of red/pink/ and deep grey as the season turns to colder days? Fond greetings,Jean.

Yesterday I discovered that gophers had killed my honeycrisp apple tree. I was not a happy camper. They ate all the roots despite us planting it in a wire mesh basket.

Wish I grew that many tomatoes. While successful for me, I have no where near enough for sauce. I'm learning though.

Your sun looks so inviting and Gary in shorts!! I won't wear them again this year...not for another 9 months!!
