A DIFFERENT PATH...THE ARTS FESTIVAL...AND A DOG SHOW

 Started off with chores...grey, coolish.
Took a shower and left for the Village with Gary to sell tickets for the Duck Derby (part of the Arts Festival that started yesterday).

We were fortunate to snag a parking place at the Welcome Center and headed over to the sales tent.
On the way, we stopped at A Different Path Gallery to check out the show whose opening we missed Friday night.  Both of the artists graduated from Brockport High School, where I taught art, and are now married.
What a fun show!  You really should check it out.

The Gallery is on Market Street and we had to walk down it to get to our destination.
The Farm Market was in full swing.

 Our shift was from 10-12.

There were tons of vendors this year and lots of food smells made us very hungry.

Of course Gary had to hit Java for a cup of coffee.
Sally stopped to see us.  We saw all kinds of people we know.
In a little over 20 minutes, all these dogs went by.

(an eagle and a lion too)

Mary Pat and I run in to each other everywhere!

The reason we work the Duck Derby is to raise money for our chorus (so we can pay our director...Maryellen!)  She's the one on the right....you have seen her many times.

There was all kinds of entertainment...
 People all over the place.
This is Pat B., who coordinated the whole affair.

 Love this man's work.

Even tho it was cool and cloudy, I knew I had to go swimming.  Only lasted 40 minutes,
before I went back to the farm.

Sally and Judy stopped up to pick some veggies....
and brought us the best blueberry muffins ever!  Judy is some baker.
Picked up Gary after his duty at the Welcome Center and got home in time to do chores.

I am so tired!
Night all.

Excellent post and photos. And here I thought dogs at the Farmers Market was just an Omaha thing. hehe If the weather was just right then everything else about this day was!

What a full day!! It's hard for me to say what my favorite part of it would have been--Probably the end of it, because I'd have all the memories of all the fun!

Gary, did you know you are standing in front of " ...?? Slipper Shop" ? A good choice for you later on maybe. What a great selection of dogs, was one in training for blind dog duty, he/she might have had that sort of harness on. Lovely fruit, blueberries? and so much more. You had a very full day , and are very entitled to be tired. Cheers, Jean.
