IF YOU COULD SEE ME NOW......

I was doing ok 'til I had to get out of bed the first time to go to therapy. The nerve block in the front of my leg was going away and it wasn't pretty.  Got through it and went back to my room. For some reason my cheeks are very flushed and I felt lightheaded and just about barfed at the 1pm therapy.  Gary was following me around with a bucket.  Then, a PA came in to see me and has changed the pain meds.  I look ridiculous and can't write anymore.  Yuck, they just delivered food and I just can't think about eating.  Later.

  6. Brett said that this is what he experienced as well. It does get better. Promise. Rest up and take your pain meds. You'll heal faster if you stay ahead of the pain.

  7. I know how you feel. It could be the pain meds making you sick. Sometimes they make you not hungry at all either. Believe it or not I lost 15 pounds while on the pain meds.

Hope your pain goes away soon. It's not pretty for a few days. Hang in there.

  13. Hello Lori. Trust all went well? You should be getting past the worst now, and soon you'll be thinking of getting home.
BUT, when you do, sleep lots and DON'T try and do tooooo much. It always surprises me how the body dictates its needs. LISTEN TO IT.

    Love, Mike and Ann.
