DID YOU SAY 15 DEGREES?

Gorgeous morning...actually went out to the barn on time.
Gary and Jill were there to help once again...and I appreciate it very much!
Does not take very long when there are three of us.

What I don't like, is when the horses punch up the paddocks and it freezes.  Fortunately they pound some of it down where they eat their hay.
Abbe is determined to compete with Jackson (Aspen Meadows) to see who can be the dirtiest.
Feeling better today and decided to get some sauce going.  Can't go a week without having pasta.
Started off with a little onion and 1 orange pepper, then added our own garden sauce.
At the last minute I called Sally and Judy to see if they wanted to join us for another round of comfort food....they were both game.
Set the table, started the salad and went out to do evening chores.
Romeo wondered if I could hurry things up.
Sally arrived first, and presented us with a jar of maple syrup!  Who wouldn't love that?

Then Judy walked through the door with a tin of the most delicious fudge I have ever tasted.
Hey Sara....does this sippin' whiskey look familiar?  These Northerners are really lovin' it.

I put a lot of Greek olives in the salad tonight.  Green onions too.  Both added such flavor.
 You've seen this before....
Added a little crusty bread (grilled) and we were good to go.
Dinner with friends is a warm fuzzie.
Night all.

You do such great dinners for friends - not a lot of fuss, but so completely YUM.

Is that a bottle of Dewar's? I noticed it right away (I spent a few years tending bar), but it's been awhile so I'm not sure.

You always have such nice dinner gatherings. I hope to someday not be so rushed that I can do more of that. I love when we have big groups for dinner. It's like the holidays every day! :)

(Can't believe the "winter" you are having!).
