BIG SURPRISE....

 Nice morning....
The usual suspects ate their grain and....

walked through the mud out to the big pasture.
I've got stall cleaning for three down to a science.  After doing 7 or 8, this is a piece of cake.
My brother stopped in for a visit this morning.  His name is Gary too.  He is one of the few people I know who has made money fishing!  In tournaments that is.  Currently he and several of his friends are going after some salmon in Olcott, NY...just for pleasure.  Every fall he comes this way from Lakewood and stops at the farm to pick up leeks (and apples) as he will be making a gigantic pot of leek and potato soup for his pals next weekend.  It has become a tradition.  After a short visit we went out for lunch (Java) and he went back to see what he could catch.
 1:30....class time.
 Just Judy....
 and Tina today.
Seymour came in for the afternoon for some lounge time.
I attempted to take a nap but didn't.
Then it was time for evening chores.
Lily and Sophie made an appearance.  They are spending a lot of time in the loft of Gary's barn.
 It was raining again....
We were invited out to Randy and Arlene's for dinner.

It was outstanding.  A salad, crusty bread...

 and a harvest stew....
 Homemade apple pie for dessert.
We finished off the evening playing Sequence and guess which team won....again.
We could get some snow later in the week.
Night all.

I can't believe you still have things in the garden. I was done two months ago...sure wish I had more time.
