A MARATHON EFFORT....(THURSDAY)

Daniela and Ariana helped me with chores this morning.
 It was nice and cool.

They are both in the groove and help me a lot.
Seeing that it was not so hot, we decided to go for a bike ride.

We went around a 4-5 mile "block" .
The wood pile down the rode is getting ginormus.
We stopped at Polle's Legacy to check on King Mustafa....
 and Your Grace.
They have adjusted beautifully and have free run of the place.  Even like to share a stall.  Barb has to be thrilled with their smooth transition.
Back to the farm around 11.
Kevin dropped Finn and Coop off in time for lunch and a little card playing before we ran an errand out to Glen Darach Farm.  Joan (my drumming buddy) was lounging her horse (Willow).
The kids were very interested in Norman, Andrea's mini gelding.
Next, we went to the Spa over in Christina's World.  It has become a regular Thursday stop.  The water temperature was a mere 88 degrees.
Earlier, Ariana had dug out all my old digital cameras and got them all up and running.  I gave the girls two of them and the last went to Finn and Coop.  They were all in a picture taking mode for the rest of the day....wherever we went.  I'll have to post some of their shots tomorrow.
Finn and Daniela spent some time with one of the cats before we left.  By the way, Cooper made his debut swimming on his own from one side of the pool to the other about 5 times.
The next stop was Jimmy Z's for ice cream.
Then we took the boys over to the Welcome Center so they could see the "Sailboat from Norway."
They loved everything about it and were ready to move in.

While we were on board, the bridge went up and a boat passed under it.

The docking spaces were all taken and the kids checked out the rest of the boats before we left.

 There were some biggies!
Tomorrow the girls will go on our Norwegian friend's boat and cruise down the Canal for a few hours.
Back home a few minutes before Jen arrived to pick up all four kids.  Dinner and an overnight at her house.  I did chores and Gary went down to the Welcome Center to set up a band that was playing there tonight.
Notice that Belle is grazing next to the other horses.  This is the closest she has been.
This was the first concert in this Venue.  Julie Dunlop and High Maintenance.  Country Music at it's best.
Our Norwegian friends were not afraid to get out there and dance. "Swing."
 They were great!

Harald and Live caught me taking their pictures.
 DJ was there.
There was a lot of activity on both sides of the Canal.
 Cooper was still taking pictures.
So was Harald...with his big fancy camera.

Chalk up one more reason Brockport is a great community.

When the concert was over Gary and I boarded the SS-Ilanga for a drink.
The sun was setting and the light was beautiful.

Got home just in time to get those masks off and tuck in the ponies.
 A non-stop day.
Night all.

What a full day - those grandkids are lucky to have such interesting grandparents - who fill their days with such variety.
