WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON IN MASSACHUSETTS?

 Muggy morning.
Put the ponies in the back pasture,
they did not stay there long.
 New blossoms have appeared...

Had to play with this one.

A lot of time was spent in the barn, until a front came through and brought with it some strong winds.
It felt good.
Took a quick shower and headed down to the Seymour Library to hang our art show (Opening on Saturday noon-2).

We were all done in an hour and a half.

When I drove through the village, there was Gary...so we went into Barber's for a quick sandwich.
At 1 I was at Apple Creek Farm mowing their lawn.  First time this year, and they had a brand new John Deere mower for me!  (In case you are just tuning in, I have been mowing this lawn for several years).  For friends...yes, I am well paid.  This is just the driveway and there's a lot more.
Relaxed at home for a couple of hours and went out to do chores.  Picked the pastures while the horse's ate their grain.

How about those old beams in Berlin's stall...
 I love this old barn.
Back out on pasture until dark.

 A real leftover dinner.  Salad.
Mixed some of our own pasta sauce with some leftover mac and cheese...and that was that.
It's so nice to be cool.  This weather has me concerned.
Night all.

Ooh, those irises and that old barn, ooh.
We were nearly blown away by ferocious winds today--hope they didn't reach you.

It doesn't seem long ago when there was snow on the ground.

Checked back a couple of post as I've been so busy. The art show will be fun to "see". Hope it goes good. How could you possibly be concerned about the weather....love the heat. We are getting a sprinkling tonight which is much needed with all the forest fires and the cloud of smoke we are living in, but I sure do love to be warm. 62* felt freezing!!

Beautiful Iris, mine are blooming, too...but that wind is really tough on them.

Your barn is a treasure...lucky ponies.

When do the new chairs arrive?

Gotta vote with the others --the iris is smashing!! Love looking at your yummy food shots!! And, isn't amazing to have all that artistic talent all around -- hope you have a successful exhibit. I have 3 photos now hanging in the Camera Rochester Exhibit at the Pittsford Barnes & Noble store. Cheers, Stan
