WHERE ARE WE?

Woke up to this.

More to come....
By mid morning, it looked like this.  Bright, beautiful.....
I took the horses sheets off and it was time to roll.

Today, there was as much hair on me as there was on the ground.  Masterpiece has lost at least a bushel!
Ran a couple of errands, but spent most of the day outside.
 Everything is starting to grow.

Barb has chore duty tonight so I went out this afternoon to scrap the dirt off the ponies.  My luck, they will roll again before she puts them in.

The pups are lovin' the weather.

This is the only color in the garden.
 More yuccas....

What a difference from this morning.
At 6:30 we drove in to Rochester.
It's a challenge to take pictures at 50+ mph.
 .....through the car window....
 Every shot is a surprise.
As we approached our destination....the light was (once again) beautiful.

We parked the car and walked a few yards over to the Auditorium Theatre.

 The Lion King!

I loved many things about it...Garth Fagan (from Rochester) did an amazing job with the choreography...the costumes were off the charts...music and sets were terrific.  There were two percussionists...one on either side of the stage (box seating would normally be there).  They had every percussion instrument you could think of and played throughout the entire show.  Outstanding!  And one of them went to Brockport and studied with Khalid (who negotiated the tickets for 43 of us who are connected to drumming).  Thanks Khalid.
 Night all.

Whoah---foggy fog creeping round . . .! What a soft touch the fog lends to the photos. . .

Of course I love the sun, but mornings like this really always bring such a calm, don't they?

I hope you're having an enjoyable Thursday!!

Nothing like early morning fog to add a touch of mystery/romance/eerieness to the surroundings.

I Norway we have sun and wind today, and almost all the snow has melted.

Looks like scenes from Harry Potter...

At least it was not snowing! Beautiful photos in the mist.

Lots of fog at our place too this morning. But I bet it was colder at yours - we were at 43F during morning chores.

Green grass! And a daffodil! You're getting there, Lori.

I second you wake up to paradise. The pictures of your farm are lovely! I wish we had such signs of spring. I keep looking...

Maybe this weekend.

P.S. Found your post from Farm Friend Friday. Thanks for sharing!
