WHAT IF YOU DON'T WATCH THE SUPER BOWL?

A grey day from morning 'til night.  The temperature was probably at least 32 or 33 degrees when all was said and done.

Barb helped with chores...the barn was warm enough that I took off my jacket.  I was stuck in slow, and was enjoying cleaning the stalls.  So nice not to feel cold.
Of course we got 3 or 4 more inches of snow.

Seymour and Sid joined us in the barn....L'orange came out after I put the dogs in.

Below is my yucca plant.  Tells you something about this winter.

Of course shoveling was part of my morning.  This pile was nearly 5 feet high.

I fell asleep last night while we were watching a movie, so I took some time off to watch it before drumming.  Liked it!  I stayed awake the whole time.

Our drum jam was very good today...we are improving every session.

Barb had chore duty tonight....I didn't feel like making dinner so settled for some mac and cheese.
It's 7:32 and don't tell anybody....we are not watching the Super Bowl.  So over hyped.

And now, for a public service announcement.

Our good friend Mary Pat (who was here for tea the other day and happened to teach one of our daughters when she was in grade school) retired last summer and is offering something very special to the young children from this area.  She has started a Fancy Reading Room, where they can come and read or be read to...purely for pleasure.  What a great idea.

I'm cutting this short.  Takin' the rest of the evening off.  Night all.

Great pictures. Love the header, how adorable are those two!

Sorry you got more snow today. It will end soon. Unfortunately, I'm stuck watching the super bowl. The half time show was one of the worst I've seen yet. Stay warm.

I watched just long enough to see the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial, which was a huge disappointment this year. The Clydes had a very small part, almost a cameo, compared to the singing cowboy with the yellow teeth. I went to the Bud site and expressed my opinion.

I went to a superbowl gathering at a friend's home. Ended up talking to all the other ladies there, instead of watching the game....too boring. The reading room idea does sound wonderful.

I was looking at your sidebar and just realized how much Sidney and Seymour have grown up. Your little kitties are cats!

Well, in case you hadn't heard, the Steelers lost. :(

Looks like you had a busy but lovely day, sans football. (We only watched the 2nd half -- not huge fans, but like the commercials.)

Iv'e run into a problem...my photo's have too man pixels and won't fit on the header anymore! Trying to make them smaller so I can change the header!

Be well, wishing you bright sunlight today!
