When we boarded at a huge barn with side-by-side dressage arenas, a choreographer brought an African drummer in one arena while my husband was riding in the other. They were rehearsing a freestyle. We learned that my husband's horse Reggie can trot backward, he was that fried! It was probably 10 years ago, and we still laugh about the day Reggie trotted backward.
