ANOTHER ONE....

At 6am there was a little glimmer of pink and orange.

It got down into the 30s last night and there was frost on the ground.
I cruised through chores...was finished by 9:15 and (yey!!!!) Gary came out and got the wheel barrows for me.

There he is now!
At 10am our chorus rehearsal started and it was another heavy duty experience. We are off next week and have to cram in a LOT!
This is the view of the Canal out the back window. They still have not filled it for the upcoming season.
Gary and some of the boys from the bass section.
No sooner did we get home, before I had to drive Phoebe and Gucci down to the Groomer's. Sherri has been taking care of our small dogs for over 25 years! She has always done a great job.
After I dropped them off, decided to go over to Glen Darach Farm and check in on Andrea.
She was about to give some lessons and was just finishing grooming Amos (above) and Eagle (below).
Joan and her big girl, Willow were ready to go.
She has to be way over 17 hands.
Jill and Jingles had the first lesson.
On the way home I stopped in the Village to talk to one of the owners of the Lift Bridge Bookshop regarding post cards. I'm thinking about selling them there.
I parked in front of the Bike Shop and there sat Sprocket...the owners pup. He hangs out there whenever the place is open.
Stopped at (where else) Wegmans and snuck a couple shots of the pansys.

Took the groceries home and put them away with just enough time to go back and pick up the dogs. They were there for 4 hours.
Here are their new hair doooooossssss.

Went out to do evening chores a little after 7. They were ready to go in and eat.

The sunset was going to be as beautiful as the sunrise.
Bulked up on all kinds of fruit today....

and dinner was leftover pasta and a spinach salad.

Got to go now....night all.

Great pics of the day! It is still getting cold here at night but at least we haven't the foot of snow Alberta got yesterday! Have a great week!

Oh, Gucci and Phoebe look beautiful after their grooming. Your yard looks so clean and neat. I'm still catching up on visiting blogs. Thanks for visiting mine when I was not so active in returning to yours. Things should be normal now again for the next four months while we live in the Sudan. (((Hugs))) Jo

I see you are still having action packed days. The dogs look cute with their new haircuts.Lovely blue skies, sunrise and sunset but it still looks cold.

Don't you love it when someone else dumps the wheelbarrow? In our barn, that's a sign of true love. The pups look adorable with their summer cuts. Let's hope it doesn't get cold again. They're predicting rain for us this weekend, so I'm going out to enjoy that sunshine!

Hi Lori. Glad to hear Gary's getting on so well. Give him my regards as one base to another.
Cheers, Mike.
