THE SKOOG FARM JOURNAL - 2 YEARS OLD TODAY

Before I get started, I want to tell you what a pleasure it has been to meet people from all around the world ..a great education and I feel like I know so many of you. If only I could meet you face to face. I have not missed a day of posting in two years. This is my 2288th entry.
I started my counter after 4 months of keeping a Journal, and as of tonight....56,188 hits. An average of 88 hits a day last week. I can't believe that 97 people want to be my followers! That is a real honor. There is no doubt about it! This has changed my world.

As for today, the sunrise was beautiful.

Last night the temperature went down into the teens, so everything was frosted this morning.

Chores went quickly and it was near 30 before 9.

Any melting that has taken place will be covered with snow by tonight.

Gary worked on our bedroom, and I ironed curtains and the dust ruffle.

By 3:30 (except for the art work) the room was set up.

I love it!

After dinner I started putting up some paintings...did not have enough energy to really finish everything.

The bolsters really pick up the color of the room.

Even our old chair works.

Had to make a quick run to the store for a few things.

The weather was doing exactly what was predicted...snow turning to rain by tomorrow.

Out to the barn a little after 5.

It was really snowing.

Got everything set up and put the ponies in for the night.

Dinner. We can't go very long without pasta, so that's what we had.

Bought some nice organic tomatoes for the salad, as we have not had them for a long time. They just don't taste that great in the winter.

Veggie pasta and a crusty roll. It met my expectations, and I am still full.

Bermuda came in again for a couple hours. I would love it if he could be happy in the house part of the day.

I already took a hot shower and am ready to crawl into bed.... Night all.

Hi Lori. I, too always enjoy your blog. It's the only one I know that's totally reliable. And its reliability is very restful, without ever being predictable, or boring.
Warm regards to you both, Mike and Ann.

It's hard to imagine a day without a visit to Skoog Family Farm! Congratulations, and I hope that you will be blogging for many years to come. Your bedroom looks terrific - you and Gary did a great job! Too bad you can't come over and give mine a makeover, but you're inspiring me. I'm going to wait for Spring though, if it ever comes.
