WALNUT HILL....

Will this sweet pony ever have the opportunity to do this?

Tomorrow one of the largest pleasure driving competitions in the world begins at Walnut Hill.
Many people in the Northampton Driving Society (our local driving club) will be competing against people from all over the country as well as Canada.

It is nearby and I plan on going over with some friends on Saturday.

This is Billy...he lives and trains and Glen Darach Farm.

Here is Billy again. These last four pictures were taken by Tina.... We go nuts taking photos at this event.

This is a friend, Laurie N. and her horse Torie. Andrea (Abbe's trainer) rides with her in the "Ladies Wicker Phaeton" classes. They did very well last year.

Yes, she will. Kindness, firmness, trust and a sense of humor is all it takes!! Abbe looks so pretty to that meadowbrook cart. And you know, Laurie N.'s horse did not get to be that good overnight!! I watched him swerve around a few cones at the NH Driving show a few years back!! LOL!! Keep at it. It's all good!!

I realized today that my office is on the same road and less than two miles away. It was a privilege to walk there, for my lunch break. Didn't see Andrea however.
