MY DAY IN A NUT SHELL....

It was a quiet start...Buster and Gucci were actually sleeping under my computer table this morning.
It was very bright and crisp when Gary and I went out to the barn to do chores.
The dogs were left in as I can't keep track of four while I am working.
As soon as I got in from the barn, I grabbed them and we went for a walk down the lane.

They love to run free...investigating anything that moves.
Phoebe always remains calm while the others are busyyyyyyy.
One more shot of that wheat.
My morning macro shot of a single little clover blossom.
And then there's Buster Brown.

I drove Buster and Ice home and went to Wegmans to pick up some fresh bread for the Garden Party that I was supposed to be at by 11:15.  Please take a look at the photos below.
When I got home, I was so tired I took a nap.
At 5:30....chores.  Then, I was awake enough to mow the big pasture.  Too many daisies!
When I finished, the Kenney family was just about ready to leave.  Justine went out for a trail ride tonight with a friend.
This is their truck and trailer that make it possible for me to continue to take my lessons with Abbe.  I have had a trailer for the past 30 years, and it is very hard for me to be without one.  I consider myself very lucky to have this option.

Gary had Harbour Duty tonight.....
You have met this 5 pound ferocious pup before.  Her name is Lillie Mae and she belongs to the Kenney Family.
One of the smaller dogs in captivity.
Look at that face.....
Time to go out and take the masks off the horses.
Went out to the Studio to check on the chair Gary is painting for the Take A Seat Auction.  It is coming along beautifully.
I could not come in the house without going for more macro shots taken in the garden.

I never thought I would eat again, but had a couple salads after 8.
This is the door that we use most of the time...it goes into the kitchen.  Our farmhouse was built in 1853.
When I looked out at the indoor...the horses were right where they always are between 7 and 9.
That's it for tonight.  Have to go out and put them in so I can get in some couch time.  It is so peaceful with just our two dogs!

Don't forget to check out the Garden Party....the hats....
