IT'S ABOUT THE WEATHER....

Cut up some carrots for the horses this morning...they look so sweet on my little blue saucer (that I use to drag things to the barn). And how about the way our driveway looked this am????

Can you remember a time when the weather went from one extreme to the other so many times?
This morning it was raining.  I cleaned the stalls (after I put the horses out with their hay under the shed roof and in a run in).  Put in new shavings....by now the horse's blankets were soaked because they were not using their brains... and ended up putting more hay and water in their stalls so I could put them back in.  I hate days like this...twice as much work.  Then I took a shower and started my errands...1.  Wally World to pick up some techie stuff  2.  Brockport Animal Hospital (to make sure Phoebe was all set for her Therapy Dog Registration for 2009)   3. To the bank
4.  To the Business Office at the Central School District (where I used to teach)  5.  To the post office to mail a package to Florida  6.  Touched base with the owner of the Red Bird Tea Shoppe
7.  Appointment with a Message Therapist (best part of my day)  8.  Dollar General to pick up a bottle of Ibprophin 9. HOME in time to pick the stalls before Justine did the chores.

Ugh -- here too! Wind brings snow. More wind brings a rapid melt and mud. Even more wind brings more snow. Wind. Melt. Mud. Wind. Snow.

Keeps farming interesting, does it not?

The weather is the same around here too. At least you got a massage therapist fit into your busy day.
