BENVENUTI!

Oggi un bel giorno (today is a beautiful day).  Vuoi mangiare qualcosa? (Do you want to eat something?)  Today a group of volunteers made pizza for 60 at the Senior Center.  We got there at 9:30 and went through the drill step by step, with lunch ready to serve at noon.  I want to thank Joan, Jill, Cora, Millie, Shirley, Rita and Carrie for all the help.  Considering it was our first time in the kitchen at the center, I must say that we were beyond awesome. We served pizza, a fresh green salad, watermelon and homemade cookies (which we baked yesterday and sold out by 9:15 this morning).  They also could chose to drink soda, lemonade or milk.  Everyone seemed pretty happy with the lunch and had an opportunity to peruse the flea market.  I know that I had a lot of fun and believe that this crew could do anything (and probably will).
