Did any of you see this? It was mailed to me and I thought Gayle, in Alaska, would appreciate it. A family in Anchorage built a playground for their children, being very careful to put smooth stones under the equipment etc. The morning after they finished, the kids got up early to go out and use if for the first time....this is what they saw.

Anchorage has a big bear problem. I read all the time about bears running through neighborhoods getting into trash. Luckily, the bears don't wander into my neighborhood. Not that they couldn't, they just don't. I have a fox problem which explains my loss of laying hens. Also, in the winter I don't think a day goes by that I don't see a moose or two or three.
