Today the Kenny family brought their horse Winnie over for a lesson from their trainer. It is Justine's birthday and it is what she wanted to do. Long ago I wrote about this horse and rider...when they were here they had an accident and Justine broke her arm. This is her first lesson and she had the courage to come back here to take it. As a matter of fact, she and Winnie did very well, while her brother sat in the cart to watch.
The dead tree in the inner pasture remains it's usual perch for birds, the horses enjoyed the clover, and Phoebe was on duty in the paddock (covered with hay). Not enough rain to hurt the rhubarb. All and all, business as usual.

Congratulations to Justine. It's not easy to overcome the fright after having fallen.
