This morning Roy and I worked with Abbe and it was one of the best experiences I have had with this sweet pony. She was quiet and receptive, cooperating in every way. We are trying to get her used to the shafts on the cart by putting plastic piping on her sides as we are line driving. Roy groomed her with them before we attached them to the surcingle, and before we knew it she was accepting them.
